Modular Service

SaaS Backups

Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce keep the platform running — they don’t recover what you accidentally delete or lose to ransomware. That’s on you. We close the gap with independent, immutable backup that lives completely outside your SaaS providers’ infrastructure.

Essential Eight: Regular Backups
10,000+ organisations worldwide rely on this same independent backup approach
ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 certified infrastructure, independently audited
99 yrs maximum retention period available, set per platform to match your needs

Why independent backup matters

If your only copy lives inside the platform that’s meant to protect it, a compromised admin account, ransomware attack, or misconfiguration can take out your backups too. Our backup infrastructure is entirely separate from Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce — with no third-party sub-processors — a genuinely independent copy, not a second folder in the same house.

What you get

  • Immutable, tamper-evident storage — can’t be altered, encrypted, or deleted, including by ransomware
  • Always-hot storage — every backup is instantly accessible, no archive delays or extra fees
  • Granular restore — a single file, mailbox, or user, or a full tenant rollback
  • Flexible retention, from short-term up to 99 years, set per connector
  • Audit-ready logging for GDPR, NIS2, and HIPAA-aligned compliance
  • Data sovereignty — stored within region, no offshore transfer

17 SaaS platforms are protected in total, with new connectors added regularly — if your platform isn’t shown here, ask us and we’ll confirm coverage.

On the roadmap: Slack is a publicly announced upcoming connector — not yet available, but confirmed for release. We’ll move it into the list above the moment it goes live.

Built for the cloud, not retrofitted onto it

Traditional backup tools were built for on-premises servers and bolted onto SaaS later. Ours was purpose-built for cloud SaaS data — which is why restores are instant rather than pulled from a slower archive tier, and why we can add new connectors as fast as you adopt new tools.

A note on Essential Eight scope: this tag reflects the Regular Backups strategy specifically. ACSC scores your overall Essential Eight maturity against your weakest control across all eight strategies, not an average — get in touch for your organisation’s actual maturity assessment.
